12:29

12:29am.

i promised myself last night i’d be in bed by 11.

but then i said “fuck it, there’s always tomorrow” and the incognito tab was loading before i could fight it.

the guilt showed up before the page did.

tap to wake

then it was 2am. just me, staring at the ceiling.

wondering how the guy who was up at 4am to work out, doing deep work days and fighting off urges without a struggle a few days ago...

turned into the guy who swore “last time” 3 months ago and was gooning at 3am anyway.

and the slip isn't even the bad part. it's knowing i was going to do it again.

so i typed "how to stop falling off" into tiktok and youtube.

every video said the same thing. be more disciplined. get more motivated. you just don't want it bad enough. "just work harder bro".

and at 3am, i believed them.

so i didn't give a fuck about sleep that night. i went straight to work and became that locked in version of myself again.

4am workouts. back to back deep work. 50 pages a day. i forgot my bad habits even existed.

this lasted 4 days.

then came the fifth.

11pm

i stayed up finishing some last minute work off my whiteboard. by the time i got into bed it was 11pm.

4am

the alarm was set for 4. five hours of sleep. i woke up with nothing left in me.

7am

snoozed until 7. since i was up so late, i cancelled the workout and the first deep work session.

and since the day was already ruined... might as well scroll some reels in bed, right?

we both know how this day ends.

back to staring at the same ceiling, asking the same question, pissed at myself.

and if you think it was just the sleep, remember the other times.

i slept fine, someone sent me one video, and 37 minutes later no work got done.

or it just wasn't the right day, and "tomorrow" was where it would start.

the reasonalwayschanges. the fallstaysthe same.

you know there's another version of you.

the one who doesn't fall. you know what his life looks like. the body, the bank account, the way he feels waking up...

and every time you fall, he gets further away.

so i did what everyone does and tried to climb back up.

moved the alarm from 4am to 3. worked 8 hours instead of 6. made the promises bigger and bigger...

and collapsed under the weight of them every time.

and i know you probably are too, bro. you've been told the same thing i was. more work. more discipline.

but none of these guys ever showed you where you land.

they all show you the good days. up early, putting in the work.

they never show you the one where your mind is blank and you can't even get out of bed.

all they focus on is taking you higher and higher. 30 day challenges, monk mode, motivational videos. they all bring you up for a while.

then you fall back to who you always were.

but this is when i realized something.

if we're going to fall anyway, it doesn't matter how high we go.

it mattershow high upwe fall.

think of your best day.

the one you keep trying to recreate. you did exactly what you said you would and went to bed proud.

now think of your worst day.

the gap is probably so big you'd swear it was two different people living in your body.

now imagine your worst day and your best day being almost the same. you slip up, and instead of a week of nothing, it's a moment before you climb right back.

i can't promise you'll never fall off again. everyone does. i still do. it's just that the place i land has changed.

that's what a floor does.

think of it like a mountain.

you can climb it for a few days on motivational videos, a new start, some challenge. maybe you even reach the top...

but you fall all the way back to the base. every single time.

reaching the peak never mattered, because you were always going to fall off it.

but if you only slip a little below the peak, you climb right back like nothing happened.

you think the people at the top never have bad days.

they just climb back to 100 because they start at 97. you keep going back to 0.

for me it started with reading.

one page a day, even in my worst moods. even after a long day that would normally make me skip it, i'd read one page.

and that doesn't put me at the peak of the mountain. but it puts me right below it, so climbing back up is easy.

the best part is when skipping it gets harder than doing it. that's the floor doing its job.

and that's what i'm actually promising you. a floor built around your own habits.

now it's a tuesday, two weeks from now.

6:00am

the alarm goes off and you're up before the second ring. your phone is across the room, not next to your bed. the old you would've snoozed it or scrolled in bed. you put one foot on the cold floor and get up. your work is already written down from last night.

there was a time you'd fight your own mind for 15 more minutes of sleep. now you just... get up and get to it.

day 5
7:32pm

an urge comes out of nowhere while you're trying to rest. the same one that's always beaten you into guilt. the incognito tab, the scroll, the uber eats, whatever yours is.

it'll still hit. you'll still notice it. you just won't land where you used to.

the floor has been raised. that's no longer who you are, and it's just out of character for you now.

9:00pm

the time you'd usually be lying in bed wondering why you gave in... you're asleep. no mind attacking you. no knowing you need to quit and not being able to. no more feeling subhuman.

remember the guy who showed up on your best day?

he shows up on your worst now, because that's the worst you'll let it get.

he's youwith a higher floor, and you can startbuilding him today.

there was a version of me that would've been up at midnight falling into his bad habits. now he's up at midnight writing this.

so why did i keep falling? i finally found out.

it was code.

a program running in the background of your mind, closing every tab you open. the 4am alarm, the clean streak. sooner or later, the code closes them.

it was installed in you before you could choose it.

it was never you. and code can be rewritten as easily as it was written.

here's how i'll walk you through it.

  1. 01

    see your floor.

once you see it, you'll notice it in EVERY area of your life. your work, your discipline, your day-to-day habits. you'll see the code running behind all of them.

after this, the falls stop feeling random. you'll know exactly where you land and why.

  2. 02

    see who installed it.

and my own story of how it got installed in me.

after this, the shame starts to lift. something that was put there can be taken out.

  3. 03

    build landing pads.

seeing it isn't enough. a landing pad is a floor you set for one habit, the minimum you never go below, like my one page a day. when you fall, you land on the pad, never back at the bottom.

after this, a bad day costs you a day. never a month.

  4. 04

    design a new character.

once your landing pads hold, we build your ceiling up and your floor rises with it. then we design the guy you're going to play as.

after this, you stop waiting to become him. you wake up as him.

the part nobody else does.

every guru hands you a routine. a routine is a list of things the old you has to force himself to do. that's why it breaks on day 5.

so we start somewhere else. with a character.

picture this. tomorrow you move to a city where nobody knows who you used to be. and imagine you'd already done it. clean for a year, the body, the money, whatever yours is.

how does that guy act at 2am when the urge hits? what time does he get up? what does he do on a bad day?

you already know. you could describe him like a video game character.

so you build him. his name. his floor for every habit. what he does when he's tired. what he does on day 5.

then you give him memories. your brain won't believe you're him because it has no memory of you acting like him. so every landing pad you hold becomes a memory he gets. one page read on a bad day. one urge you let walk past.

and you remind yourself who he is every morning and every night, until your decisions start coming from him without you deciding.

the guy who has it all could lose everything and get it back, because the way he acts never changes. that's who you're building. and you start playing as him tonight.

here's what's inside.

7 stairs. at the top, you build him.

each stair takes about 5 minutes. finish one and the next one opens. point at a stair to see what changes there.tap a stair to see what changes there.

stair 1 of 7

the landing

right nowyou fall off, feel like shit for the rest of the day and swear it was the last time. it never is.

on this stairyou find the exact spot you land every time you fall. once you can see it, the falls stop feeling random.

the keeper.

3am and the urge is loud? open the keeper. it’s an ai that has read what you wrote on your stairs, so it calls out the pattern before you run it again.

message me.

stuck on a stair? every stair has a button that comes straight to me. i read every message.

new lessons, every week.

more pillars are being built right now, and new lessons drop every week. you get every one of them for as long as you’re a member, at the price you joined at.

5 minutes a stair.

do it on your phone in bed, right where you usually fall off. your answers save to your account.

the guy at the top of these stairs already exists. you just haven’t played as him yet.

the sealed room

$12a month

founder price for the first 15. after that it's $19.

"what if i stop opening it by day 3?"

that's the day it usually breaks, so lesson 3 will be waiting. every lesson is short, and the first one teaches you where you land when you fall off. that includes falling off this.

"i don't have time."

each lesson takes about 5 minutes. you lose more than that to one scroll.

not ready to build him yet? take the 5 minute audit.

tonight's 12:29is comingeither way.
